Welcome Spring! Hello Stitch Adventurers!

I hope this email finds everyone healthy and at home.  Those of you who are essential employees, we thank you for your commitment.

It has been an interesting new year.  I intended to start this letter with a couple of jokes about the events of the new year (I’m looking at you Peyton), but now it seems like a lifetime ago.  We have entered an unprecedented time for most of us.  The pandemic is at the forefront of everything we see on a daily basis, as it should be, but I’d like to add a little bit of sunshine to your week so make sure you join us for the daily Facebook Live update.

I have a lot to share with you today!  It’s all good information and specials so make sure you read it through to the end.

Thank you for letting us be part of your stitch adventures!

Stitch Adventure Goes Virtual

Like most of you, we’re taking one day at a time and trying to maintain some sense of normalcy.  To that end, I’m introducing some new virtual offerings.

  • Virtual 1on 1: That’s right…we’re introducing virtual one-on-ones.  If you have a technique you want to learn, let’s get together on Google Hangouts and I’ll teach you what you need to know.  This includes sewing, quilting, knitting, crochet, weaving, drop spindling, and spinning.  I’ve got all my tools at home so we can definitely make it happen.  Just remember: I’m still working so we’ll have to schedule around my work schedule.
  • Weekly Stitch Along: We’re back!  If you miss our weekly stitch alongs, join me on Wednesday nights for a virtual stitch along on Google Hangouts.  Register for the upcoming Stitch Along and you’ll receive a link for the Hangout.
  • YouTube: While I’d intended to start making videos in May for a June 21st release, I moved up the schedule so you can start viewing the Stitch Adventure videos on YouTube sooner than later.  Please have a little patience with me as we work to get them up.

***Virtual Feedback Special: Do you have ideas for tutorials?  Send me an email at with your tutorial idea.  The first 10 received will receive a special gift.

Introducing Curly Girl Fibers!

Those of you who have been with us a while know I’ve got my hands working just about every needle art there is.  My most recent activity has been yarn dying and creating a line of yarns for the store.  These yarns are available in a variety of weights and colors.  You can also order a custom color.  You’ll see a new search category titled Curly Girl Fibers.  I am working on getting the available colors on the website.

***CGF Special: Any new custom color ordered by April 15th receives 20% off!  Code: CGF20

Longarm Quilting and Commissioned Projects

I’ve overhauled how we take in, track, and process longarm quilting and commissioned projects. Every day I learn and grow as a new small business owner and this is the area needing immediate help.  The previous process led to missed deadlines and disappointed customers.  Thank you for sticking with us through these growing pains and for the suggestions you’ve made along the way.  Here are the changes we have been implementing:

  • Project Calendar: we’ve centralized all projects on one project calendar.  Each months is allotted a certain number of slots.  Once the slots for the month are filled, new projects received will move into the following month.
  • Phone Follow Up: you will receive a call/text/email when your project is started.  Once it has been completed, you will receive a completion phone call/text/email indicating it is complete and when it can be picked up.

***Projects Special: All longarm quilting or commissioned projects scheduled by April 15th receives 20% off!
